Susan McKelvy is a Professional, Award winning Artist. She has spent a life time of painting in Oils, Acrylics, and Pastels. Susan is driven by a need to recreate and share with others a special vision & experience that are significant to her. The challenge of making a 3-D scene appear on 2-D surface in a particular & interesting manner, intrigues’ her. She sees shadows & sunlit trees, water & mountains, animals & rocks & captures the magic of the moments She has experienced from car, horseback, or foreign shores. The colors, the feel of the wind, the smells of piney resins, fresh rain on the earth culminate in brush, palette knife and pastel strokes.
